Welcome to the secret shopping blog.
I talked to quite a few people who are looking to start new businesses at the ISS self storage expo this week. Everyone of them thought that they would want to know what is happening during customer interactions in a new business. I find that often, people learning a business are quicker to use a great device like secret shopping than people who think they know their business already.
This doesn’t make a lot of sense. You would think that established business leaders would want to know as much about their customers’ experiences, too. You would think they would be working on improvements and new initiatives that would need to be proofed.
Maybe complacency is the biggest competitor to a secret shopping company.
