    Welcome to the PhoneSmart call center blog. We offer and insider view of the self storage industry.
    Our secret shopping department gets the privilege of acting as detectives mystery shopping most store managers or other store employees.
    Many of our self storage clients want to mystery shop specific employees a certain number of times per month. However, it can be a difficult task sometimes. Some don’t particularly like to be shopped. So our shoppers put on their game face and track them down.
    The ones who don’t like to be shopped act like escape criminals being hunted by the FBI. On the run with nowhere to hide. But they give us a run for our money sometimes. Our shoppers are persistent and they won’t give up to easily, though.
    Some self storage employees or managers will not answer the call if it shows as “unknown” on their caller ID. Or our shopper will ask for the employee by name to shop them, (pretending like they’ve spoke to them before). Then our shoppers hear in the background a faint whisper saying… “Tell them I’m not here.”
    It’s quite funny actually. Watcha gonna to do, watcha gonna to do when we come for you?
    Don’t run and hide though… PhoneSmart reps get shopped everyday. So don’t feel like you have to dodge us. Store managers, owners, competitors, as well as prospective clients, other PhoneSmart employees and even our own secret shop department, shop us.
    Utilize us. We all make mistakes, but we can also learn from them too. Take advantage of the service we offer and get as much as you can out of it. What’cha gonna do??????
