Practice does make profit. No matter how many times you evaluate a performance, you will not get improvement without practice. This is why we have established a sales role-play helpline at PhoneSmart. Your staff people can now call us and role play with our sales reps. This is a great way to get some practical exercise in working the sales process and overcoming sales obstacles and concerns.
Our reps can pretend to be the prospect or the sales person and work through different scenarios. Your people can practice the general format of your selling process, trying to get the flow right. Or your people can work on specific scenarios that have caused them difficulty in the past.
We find that the best secret shopping scores go to the people who practice the most. Last month one group of clients made use of the role-play help line and boosted their secret shop scores an average of 12% for their group. This means money in the bank.
