Paid Surveys – Your Opinion Matters
-
The Internet is a vast ocean of information, a mind numbing sea of opportunity, and a voyeurs paradise. Having grown accustomed to such pleasures as online auctions, search engines that locate hundreds if not thousands of results within a millisecond, and the convenience and ease of email, we would be hard pressed to go a day without logging on.
Because there is such a dizzying array of offers, sales pitches abound that entice you to log on and get paid for your time. Some such websites boldly proclaim that you, yes YOU, can earn as much as a thousand dollars a day sitting in the privacy of your own home, just for giving your opinion. Well, it stands to reason that if we could all get rich just by giving our opinion of things, then we would all be driving brand new automobiles and residing in sprawling mansions.
That being said, while we may not get rich doing it, there is a way to at least make a little pocket change, and possibly earn free gifts and rewards by offering your opinion. This opportunity is called a paid survey . There are hundreds of companies on the Internet that will allow you to take a paid survey and many times more than one, and give your valuable consumers opinion on everything from political issues to reviews on the effectiveness of a specific web sites sales pages.
Some of these companies offer cash for each paid survey that you complete. It may only be a few dollars, but for ten to fifteen minutes of their time, many people feel that is a fair compensation. Over the course of six months, a person could conceivably rack up a good size chunk of change just by spending a few hours online giving honest feedback to companies that really appreciate it.
Another reward that is often given for taking a paid survey is gift cards or free merchandise. Whether it is a free meal, some make-up for the lady of the house, or coupons for free food, everyone loves to get free stuff. Some companies give a certain number of points for each paid survey taken. Once you have accumulated enough points, you can then go into the websites virtual shopping area and trade in your points for prizes and even cash. Still other companies enter your name into a sweepstakes or prize drawing for a chance to win big, rather than compensate you with a few dollars.
While each company does things a little differently, one thing is certain. Your opinion matters a great deal to them. So much so, that they are more than willing to compensate you for telling it like it is. They want to know what entices you to buy, what makes you want to click on specific links, and what you think of whatever it is that they are selling or endorsing.
While you may not make enough money to quit your day job, become a professional opinion reporter, and drive around town in your sporty new roadster, you may end up sitting at your favorite expensive restaurant even though it is a not so special occasion, or going to the mall to get your hair done on someone elses dime. That might just be reason enough to log on to the Internet today and seek out some of these companies. Once you do, you might have a whole different opinion of just how much the Internet can make you some extra cash.
