These meetings are akin to roundtable conferences or virtual lounges where people get together and talk their minds out freely.

The agents take the opportunity to voice their discontentment with their work or with the firms that they work with freely. Their supervisors take note of the import and take the necessary action. The employers are bound to take necessary action as a remedy to the issue that was raised. These forums can be used for clarifying the communication between the employers, employees and amongst the horizontal hierarchy.

    A forum like this can be a very sensitive area when it comes to exchanging grievances. In a one to one meeting between the agents and the employer, the grievance is presented and worked upon in a controlled manner. But when the grievances are made public they become uncontrollable and handling them becomes very difficult for the managing team. In such a case running the business becomes very difficult. These discussion platforms serve to keep the employers updated about the latest issues regarding their agents. The managing team has to strive to satisfy its agents as it cannot afford to lose them.
