If you are a part-time recreational vehicle camper, you may need to find a place to store your RV in a Helotes self storage facility when you are not using it. Lots of self storage prices and facilities include places to store your RV, but not all are equal or alike. In order to get the best deal while keeping your RV secure, you will have to investigate different storehouse facilities in your area.

Parking Spots

First off, know that most places to store an RV will be outside parking slots around the edges of a storehouse facility. Be sure to take a tour of the facility to see what parking slots would be available for your RV. Make sure that you could easily get into and out of the parking spot and the facility. Also, be sure that your RV would not be in a spot that would take tons of wind during a bad storm, or you might pay more to store it than you bargained for.
    
When you are actually storing your RV in a Helotes self storage RV park, make sure that you get everything set up so that your property will not see any damage. Close all the blinds. Park the RV straight and make sure it is stabilized against strong winds. Remove all electronics and other items that will not do well in extreme heat or cold. Now you are ready to walk away and leave your RV until it is time to take it out for another adventure.
