Today I took two different airport shuttles and had two very different experiences.
First I rode Mo-X, the airport shuttle that runs between Columbia , Missouri and St. Louis’ airport. I rode a comfortable, well maintained vehicle that was clean. I got a good impression of the company.
Then I rode the hotel shuttle from the airport in Washington DC to my hotel. It was poorly maintained, dirty and you could tell that the driver smoked in the van when there were no passengers. This was the shuttle that took you to a nice hotel. It gave a very poor first impression.
Why would you allow your first impression to be so distasteful? So far the rest of my experience at the hotel has been good. But I was prepared for a bad experience all the way around.
