Everyone Has A Secret, What is Yours?

  • Everyone has them. It could be surprise party plans or a love affair. At some point, you are keeping a secret. It could be an embarrassing memory involving a rubber chicken, some shameful information about a friend losing a bet, your true occupation, or something that everyone already knows and does not care about. So, you can handle one more secret. Become a secretshopper.

Now a secretshopper job will not buy you a fancy car and a house on the beach, but it could help pay the bills and save up for a skiing vacation. It is the type of job for someone like a stay at home parent who is busy with kids and household work and wants to earn some extra cash. No one is getting rich by becoming a secretshopper. However, they are living a little more comfortably. And it does not take much to become a secretshopper. You just need a few hours a week, the ability to keep a secret, and some type of transportation like a swanky moped.

To get a job as a secretshopper, like all jobs, you need to apply. Open up your laptop computer and search for a Quality Assurance Service or a Secret Shopping service. Sometimes it is referred to as mystery shopping. Also, search job search engine websites to find secretshopper jobs in your area. They can also provide information on secret shopping or mystery shopping agencies for your research pleasure. Get to know these agencies, because you want to use caution when applying for a secretshopper job.

Unfortunately, some bad people have given the secret shopping industry a bad name. Some people are reluctant to apply for a secretshopper job because the media portrays secretshopper job ads as dangerous scams. They are only half right. Sadly, the legitimate secret shopping agencies get caught in the shadow of the secret shopping scammers. Nevertheless, there are many customer service businesses that need secret shoppers to evaluate their sales staff. And finding a legitimate secret shopping company does not require for one to put on their lucky socks. It is very easy.

Rule number one: do not pay anyone to become a secretshopper. You would not pay someone to become a dog trainer so why would you pay someone to become a secretshopper? Sometimes scammers try to fool people into thinking that they are paying for training material and a list of secretshopper jobs. Most jobs have pay training. Companies invest in their employees with money, and employees invest back by working hard. It is not the other way around.

Rule number two: do not pay anyone to become a secretshopper. Sorry, there really is not a rule number two. Rule number two is just to emphasize rule number one. So this means that there is only one rule and you know what that is by now. It is very important because some of the ads can sound very convincing, however, paying someone for a job is just plain stupid. You are better off not working at all.

Otherwise, if you land a secretshopper job it can be a fun experience. Just imagine walking into a store or restaurant and pretending to be someone else. Now you do not have to pretend to be someone other than yourself, but it will make the secretshopper job more interesting. In the summer time try walking into a store with a pair of snowshoes and see how the employees react. Lastly, a secretshopper makes up his schedule so do not worry about fighting bumper to bumper traffic.
