We can also call your list of contacts if you would like.Recently, we took on a new client for a survey. Once we had created a short survey, we turned it over to our call staff. The first day that we started calling, we received a large amount of hang-ups. And to tell you the truth, they weren’t friendly when they hung-up. It’s really a shame that the person on the other end of the line could not say, “Sorry, I am not interested in taking a survey,” instead of hanging up. We are not telemarketers. We are not trying to sell you anything, just looking for your feedback. The numbers we were calling were previous or current customers of this particular business. So, they should be somewhat familiar with the business we were asking about. Instead of politely ending the call, many ended the call rudely. The people we have on our calling staff are so nice and polite. Realistically, we know that we would not be able to reach every single person on the list, but it makes the job more difficult when the rewards are few and far between.Promise me the next time you answer the phone and it is a friendly voice that asks you to take a short survey, either say “no, thank you” or take the survey.
